We made it back after another successful ride. We had wonderful weather with the exception a little rain on Tuesday morning coming out of Hancock. The canal was in great shape and were able to maintain a 10 mile an hour pace. We decided to take the W&OD Trail from Purceville into Washington DC and cut it a little short by stopping at Beth's before we went into the Mall.
An exciting addition to this trip was Mark Maron and Alex Kraus joined us for Monday's ride. They trailed along for 44 miles before heading back to West Virginia in the Disney Van.
